The highlight of the day is a lecture-discussion with Dr. Per Peterson, Professor of Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley, who will provide an overview of nuclear technology, from updates on what’s happening with conventional fission energy to the promise of fusion energy and possibilities for the future. A moderated question-and-answer session will follow the formal presentation. This special full-day program includes a box lunch and facilitated time on the museum floor.
